Puretech works towards Net Zero

At Puretech, we are intent on driving positive change for the planet, our communities, our supply chain and our customers, and we are always working on ways to improve our carbon footprint.

As a business, we use 100% green power and have ISO14001 (Environmental Management System). We are also working towards being a NetZero company and accreditation ISO14064-1 2019, the Greenhouse Gases (GHG) Emissions and Removals Standards.

Puretech and our sustainability advancements

Environmental challenges affect us all and at Puretech we recognise the pressing need to advance our own sustainability efforts.

By integrating sustainability into our business practices and decision-making processes, we aim to not only minimise our own environmental footprint but also contribute to a healthier and more sustainable planet for future generations.

Tangible environmental improvements

For the last 3 years, our company car policy states that all new company cars will be a plug-in hybrid or a fully electric car and our new, cutting-edge manufacturing facility, spanning over 40,000 square feet, is also undergoing an environmental makeover with the installation of solar panels.

Puretech is demonstrating a continued and robust commitment to environmental, sustainability and responsible management of greenhouse gas emission

Accreditations

ISO 14001 is an internationally recognised standard for environmental management systems (EMS). It provides a framework for us to manage our environmental responsibilities in a methodical manner and this leads to reduced environmental impacts, compliance with regulations, and continual improvement.

ISO 14064-1:2019 is the standard that specifies our principles and requirements for the measurement and reporting of greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions and removals. It provides guidance on how to calculate and report GHG emissions accurately and transparently, which is crucial for understanding and managing our carbon footprint.

By implementing ISO 14001, working towards net zero emissions, and obtaining accreditation for ISO 14064-1:2019, PureTech demonstrate a continued and robust commitment to environmental sustainability and responsible management of greenhouse gas emissions.
