Clean utilities for new freeze drier for Public Health England
In July 2014 Public Health England commissioned Puretech to supply, install, test, commission and validate clean utilities for a new freeze drier at their facility in Porton Down. Services provided by Puretech included water for injection, clean steam, nitrogen, compressed air, vents and drains.
Earlier in the year Puretech installed a 316I stainless steel chilled water system at Porton Down, replacing an old plastic/carbon steel system. The new pipework was orbitally welded to provide the highest integrity.
