Validated Purified water system

Project
New USP28 validated purified water system to serve washer area for Norgine.

Concept
Norgine identified a washer bay area that needed an on-demand supply of purified water. The cost of extending the existing loop to the washer bay area was prohibitive. Puretech’s solution was to provide a stand-alone Oasys plant as per the attached PDF. The unit was provided with additional protective stainless steel panels for added security.

The Oasys system produces purified water on-demand and then maintains the quality and the integrity of the water through internal recirculation. A further key factor for Norgine was the flexibility of the Oasys to be upgraded from the current 250 litres/hr to higher flowrates in the future since it may be needed in a different location to supply the whole Site demand.

Scope of plant supply
Puretech Oasys generation plant (sized to provide 250 l/hr 8 hrs/day) complete with pre-treatment skid, control panel, on-line chlorine monitoring and control devices.

Central PLC control system utilising the Siemens PLC within the Oasys.
